Vigne di San Lorenzo (Emilia-Romagna)

Since 1998 Filippo Manetti has been growing and producing organic extra virgin olive oil and wine on the beautiful hills of Brisighella under the name Vigne di San Lorenzo. Now the company is expanding to Colle Montesiepe, between the provinces of Forlì and Ravenna, on the historic Podere Oliveta estate.

The estate lies along the road that runs through the valley of the Lamone River, on a soil of marl and alluvial sandstone, in the Tuscan-Romagnolian Apennines. Here viticulture began around 1000 B.C., amid abbeys, monasteries and sanctuaries. The new winery of the Società Agricola Manetti is located a few kilometers from Podere Oliveta, in Ponte Nono of Brisighella.

This winery processes not only the grapes of Vigne di San Lorenzo, but also those of other winemakers who use services such as aging (in wood, cement, steel or amphora), bottling, labeling and storage.
