Menti Giovanni family winery was started by Menti Giovanni at the end of XIX century in Gambellara. After Antonio and Giovanni, Stefano is the 4th generation winemaker of the Menti family, who took over in 2002.
Stefano was always interested in the biodynamic agriculture, so he started to move in that direction starting in 2004 the organic conversion of all the vineyards. From 2010 they started working following the biodynamic principles, obtaining in the wines the quality they were looking for.
They mostly grow garganega grapes, the queen variety of the Gambellara area, and a little bit of durella, typical grape used for sparkling wines because of its acidity
