Granja Farm (Piemonte)

Granja Farm, an idyllic organic mountain farm located amid the majestic mountains of the Turin municipality of Chiomonte in Alta Val di Susa, is a living tribute to the ancient traditions of its surroundings. Since its inception in 2015, this enchanting farm has gathered a close-knit community of friends who collectively nurture and protect knowledge, experiences, seeds and stories.

It is resistance to the harmful developments of the high-speed rail network, TAV, that has led them to this remote valley. On their estate, they cherish the deep-rooted history of the region, reviving ancient native grape varieties and producing wines without any filtering or clarification. They also embrace the fertility of the earth by cultivating a range of products, including organic honey and apple juice.

But Granja Farm is more than just a farm; it is a haven of knowledge and experience, a place where traditions are passed on to future generations. This is evident in the Little Vine project, an inspiring agricultural trail that offers girls and boys the chance to embrace every facet of farm life, from carefully pruning the vineyards to joyfully harvesting the fruits of their labor.
