Badalucco De La Iglesia Garcia (Sicilia)

Badalucco De La Iglesia Garcia is a winery started in 1880, located in Petrosino, Sicily. Pierpaolo and Beatriz manage it with care, nurturing native vines that have been in the family for three generations. They make unique wines, including Marsala-style whites and blends of Spanish and Sicilian grapes.

The winery, though based in Sicily, bears a Spanish name because of Beatriz' ancestry. Their story is a romantic one: Pierpaolo studied in Spain, met Beatriz and returned to Sicily with her to start their own vineyard.

They believe in respect for the environment and avoid chemical treatments in the vineyard. Traditional methods are used, such as pressing grapes with their feet. The results are wines that reflect the land and cultural background of both winemakers.
